- Check the valve body, disc and seat surface before installation, remove welding slag, dust and impurities to avoid seat scratch and leakage
- Confirm the flange parallelism and alignment first, misaligned flanges will cause uneven stress and permanent valve body deformation
- Tighten all flange cross bolts evenly in diagonal sequence to balance clamping force on the whole lug butterfly valve
